This study presents the physicalmechanical properties of concrete made with crushed cupola furnace slag (CFS). The sand (fine aggregate) was replaced for CFS in different proportions: 0, 10, 15 and 20%. Granulometry, density, absorption, natural moisture and iron content evaluation showed CFS as well-graded sand with the right thickness and little quantity of fine grains. The modified concrete (MC) design strength was 14 MP. For each percentage of substitution, tests such as compressive strength, modulus of rupture, absorption, tensile strength, modulus of elasticity, and hardened material density were carried out.
