Rômulo e Remo: Escritos e ritos

The aim of this article is to generate a reading of the Romulus and Remus legend by the comparative analysis of the 'Tims Livius' work History of Rome, 'Dionysius of Halicarnassus* Roman Antiquities and Plutarch's Life of Romulus and to relate it to the Lupercalia festival, as presented by Ovidius in Fastus and Plutarch in Life of Romulus. We intend to understand the process of building an Roman identity from the written works and rituals that deal with the foundation of Rome.O objetivo deste artigo é fazer uma leitura da lenda de Rômulo e Remo através da análise cotejada das obras de Tito Lívio (História de Roma), Dionísio de Halicarnasso (Antigüidades Romanas) e Plutarco (Vida de Rômulo) c relacioná-la à festa das Lupercálias, apresentada por Ovídio (Fastos) e Plutarco (Vida de Rômulo). Busca-se compreender o processo de construção da identidade romana a partir dos escritos e ritos referentes à fundação de Roma
