The aim of the paper is to examine the relationships maintained with the interface screen concept and box art, virtual reality, film and video games.To do a genealogy of mediation is established through the screen from the birth of perspective in the Renaissance, as the starting point of the dominant visual representation to present.The analysis shows the changes in the relationship between the three elements of the representation: the viewer, the screen and the scene, which were caused by the emergence of the avant-garde and interactive art in reaction to model realistic representation.
