Foreign Language classes have not been sufficiently investigated probably due to the difficulty of finding a successful method of analysis. We propose a model of Communicative Discourse Analysis (CODAM) with a taxonomy of Verbal and Non Verbal acts in Initiation, Response and Follow Up moves (I, R, F) according to the intention of each speaker's contribution to communicative discourse.
