Acerca de la metamorfosis humano-felino en el arte rupestre de Serrezuela (Córdoba, Argentina)

The human-feline metamorphosis, a wide diffusion theme in american indigenous religions, is analyzed in this paper. With this purpose we consider a region without a wide iconographic treatment of the theme, and without systematic research on the matter. Two prehispanic archaeological sites, with rock art images, and located in the central region of Argentina, are evaluated. Generals topics linked with this kind of believe, according to historical and ethnographic information, and the specific historical and cultural context where the images were executed, is taken into account. This possible believes or cosmological concepts are associated to a social hierarchy development scenario, favored in collective feasts or celebrations.Se analiza un tema de amplia difusión entre las religiones indígenas americanas, el de la metamorfosis humano-felino, en una región donde el mismo no tuvo un amplio tratamiento iconográfico ni ha sido objeto de investigaciones específicas. Con este propósito se consideran dos sitios arqueológicos con arte rupestre localizados en el centro de Argentina. Se contemplan aspectos asociados a este tipo de creencias, de acuerdo a informaciones históricas y etnográficas, así como el contexto histórico y cultural específico donde se ejecutaron las imágenes. Las posibles creencias o conceptos cosmológicos son asociados a un escenario de desarrollo de cierta jerarquización social, propiciada en el marco de celebraciones grupales
