El establecimiento de la caja real de Valladolid

This article offers a first look at a key institution in the taxation during the colonial period: The Cajas Reales. The Royal Cash Box in Valladolid is a forgotten institution for the historiography from Michoacan, and although studies have been conducted on the Intendancy of Valladolid and the Bourbon reforms, not enough interest has been paid to this tax short-lived but important institution over the last decades of colonial Michoacán. The aim of this paper is to show when and how it was founded, its officers, their powers and the conflicts triggered by various institutions and authorities from Michoacán.Cet article offre un premier approchement à une institution clé dans la fiscalité pendant la période coloniale : les Caisses Royales. La Caisse Royal de Valladolid est une institution oubliée dans l'historiographie du Michoacán, et bien qu'on ait fait des études sur l'Intendance du Valladolid et les Réformes des Borbons, on na pas eu assez d¿intérêt à cette institution fiscal qui a eu une vie courte, mais importante pendant les dernières décades du Michoacán colonial. Le but de l'article, c'est de faire connaître quand et comment elle a été fondée, ses fonctionnaires, ses compétences, et ainsi, la manière comment les conflits avec les différents institutions et les autorités du Michoacán ont apparus.Este artículo ofrece un primer acercamiento a una institución clave en la fiscalidad durante el periodo colonial: las Cajas Reales. La Caja Real de Valladolid es una institución olvidada por la historiografía michoacana, y aunque se han realizado estudios sobre la Intendencia de Valladolid y las reformas borbónicas, no se ha prestado suficiente interés a esta institución fiscal con una vida corta pero importante durante las últimas décadas del michoacán colonial. El objetivo es dar a conocer cuándo y cómo se fundó, sus funcionarios, sus competencias, asi como los conflictos que surgieron con distintas instituciones y autoridades michoacanas
