In Mexico, common bean grain has been used for centuries in Mexican population diet. The organoleptic and nutritional properties and other characteristics are related to protein composition. Proteomics approaches have been employed to detected genetic variation of soybean and other crops, but there is not a report of this technologies applied to common beans. The proteomics characterization of three genotypes of common bean produced in Sinaloa was realized. The genotypes: Azufrado Higuera, Azufrado Noroeste and Azufrado Regional 87 were evaluated.
