Objective. To determine the effect of supplementation with alanine and glicyne in vitro culture systems on the cleavage rate of bovine embryos under conditions of high (20%) and lower (7%) oxygen tension. Materials and methods. The embryos were produced from oocytes matured in vitro in M-199 supplemented with hormones and inseminated with cryopreservated semen; the zygotes were cultivated in CR1-AA medium.
