A problem in teaching where students of Integral Calculus are immersed consists in the separation between what is conceptual and what is algorithmic. To propitiate the linkage we theoretically identified a necessary condition that refers to the existence of problem situations based on which notions and procedures are formed, closely related and associated to Integral Calculus. To the extent possible we determined this type of problems by analyzing changes in the epistemological framework (Piaget y García, 1994).
