En este trabajo se describen los supuestos formales y las características métricas del modelo no-paramétrico fuerte de doble monotonía en su versión politómica. Se presentan distintos procedimiento para su evaluación empírica. Se ajusta el modelo a una escala politómica de autoconcepto social, y se presentan sus ventajas y principales carencias.This paper describes the formal and metric characteristics of one non-parametric model of item response theory: The strong double monotonicity model for polytomous items.
