Nutrition education improves anthropometric and dietary profile of the elderlyObjective: evaluate the effects of the application of nutrition education activities on anthropometric variables and dietary habits of elderly. Materials and Methods: The study population consisted of 32 elderly with practice physical activities registered in the third age group of the Department of Leisure Sport and Tourism (SELT) Lavras-MG. Dietary assessment and anthropometric were performed at the beginning and end of the study.
