In this article we present the results of laboratory tests to evaluate the effect of the aged asphalt (short term) on the static and dynamic performance of asphalt mixtures type MDC-2. This aging is the one that occurs during the processes of production and construction of the asphalt mixture. The 80100 asphalt was aged by the Rolling Thin Film Oven test (RTFO); the specimens of asphalt mixtures were made to determine their mechanical properties with static and dynamic tests. Mixtures made with original and aged asphalt were tested. In agreement with the results of the tests, the static behavior of both mixtures (original and aged) is different.
