Add to ORKGIn this paper we consider the platonic dialogue Gorgias an antecedent of the Republic. In this respect we analise those texts in the Gorgias which criticize the flattering rhetoric, the tyrannical injustice and the main statemen of the Athenian democracy. These issues are developed and expanded by Plato in the Republic.En este artículo consideramos el diálogo platónico Gorgias un antecedente de la República. A ese respecto analizamos los textos del Gorgias que critican la retórica aduladora, la injusticia tiránica y a los principales políticos de la democracia ateniense. Estos temas son desarrollados y ampliados por Platón en la República
