El papel de la Iglesia en la configuración del franquismo

This article fathoms the relations between the Church and francoism during Spanish Civil War and the early regime. Over these years, the change of position towards Catholicism was obvious. It also clarifies the different attitudes that Church showed up, distinguishing between Spanish Church and the Vatican; the legislation and protection that both of them offered each other; and finally, the rule that was performed by Catholic associations and unions.Este artículo profundiza en las relaciones entre Iglesia y franquismo durante la Guerra civil y los primeros años de vida del régimen, en los que el giro hacia el catolicismo por parte de éste es más evidente. Clarifica también las diferentes posturas mantenidas en el seno de la Iglesia, diferenciando especialmente entre la Iglesia española y el Vaticano, la legislación y protección que se brindaron ambas instituciones y el papel social y cotidiano desempeñado por varias agrupaciones y sindicatos católicos
