The aim of this study was to analyze the association of psychology, body and demographic characteristics with risk behaviors to eating disorders (ED) in young athletes. 580 adolescents of both genders participated. We used the Eating Attitudes Test (EAT-26), Body Shape Questionnaire and Commitment Scale Exercise to assess risk behaviors to ED, body image dissatisfaction (BD) and degree of psychological commitment to exercise (DPCE), respectively. Weight, height and skinfold thickness were measured.
