The author exposes the field work made in Castelló de la Plana (Mediterranean coast of Spain), about popular uses and indications of medicinal plants. There were found 2 16 new indications for plant species (mainly in digestive, liver and gallbladder, hearth and skin diseases). There were listed 1793 popular names for plant species; and 1856 different uses for plants. In 104 species there were no records of previous medicinal use, and 165 species had a pharmaceutical use before. There is a special mention to the «seven bloods» herb (Lithodora fruticosa (L.)
