Acupuntura en el tratamiento de la parálisis facial periférica

Facial nerve paralysis is a frequent case in primary health care. The symptoms include one sided lip assimetry, ocular globe deviation, backear pain and losening of frontal folds. The patients were studied in an ORL practice, and treated with Acupuncture in Manuel Asunce's Hospital in Camagüey (Cuba). The patients were treated exclusively with Acupuncture, and there were 80 from 15 to 65 years old. We used hegu (IG-4), Jingming (V- 1), Taiyang (Ext-2) and Yingxian (IG-20) as main acupuncture points. There is an exposition of the results
