Spanish as a foreign language (ELE), a school course taught in sub-Saharan Africa according to the inherited model of France, from content to assessments, through the levels of education and duration. The purpose of this article is to describe the study of Spanish in the regulated plans in middle and upper school teachings at the African continent as the case of Gabon, from a conceptual framework inspired by Parsons’ (1997) action theory. This is to show the interaction between organizational structures, physical and symbolic ones, in every level of Spanish teaching.
