The Electrochemical Frequency Modulation (EFM) technical is presented, that consists in the generation of two potentials of sinusoidal type to different frequency and same amplitude, added and applied to the sample that is seeks to evaluate in front of the corrosion; for their implementation a prototype potenciostate was designed with visual programming Lab VIEW 7.1, the technique will be proven on steel with solutions from H2SO4 to the 0.05M and contrasted with the techniques, Linear Polarization Resistance (LPR) and Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS).
