In this article we address the current situation of the Spanish educative system and we inspect the education paradigm of the twenty-one century. Besides we ask about what should be the role of the teacher at the class power distribution between the teacher and the pupils. For this reason we analyse three teacher archetypes, as of Fontan's categories (1978) as referent, and we revise some real school archetypes, in order to share with students the self-management experience and to develop their critical and analytic skills.En este artículo abordamos la situación actual del sistema educativo español y revisamos el paradigma educativo del siglo veintiuno.
