This study explores the differences in electoral preferences between men and women in Mexican presidential elections from 1994 to 2006. During this time, it has been found that women tended to vote for the incumbent�s party candidate more than men. Through a statistical analysis based on public opinion polls, this paper explores some hypotheses to explain such phenomenon.
