The human capital performance is influenced by many factors, one of them is burnout. This research aims to identify the key dimensions that participate in the exhasut measurement perceived by employees working in the trade sector. The depth of this study was classified as explanatory design field, using one sample of 64 people in a trading company where structured interviews were conducted and applied an adaptation of the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). The instrument was validated by content, and criterion construct and calculation of Cronbach's alpha indicated adequate reliability.
