Nearly three decades after one of the most dramatic periods of Argentine History (the 1976-83 dictatorial period), the Argentine writer Martín Kohan wrote the fictional narrative Ciencias Morales. The novel explores how María Teresa, the main character, gradually absorbs the repressive ideology. She develops a "taste for obedience," a morbid complicity with the established power at the time.
