De la crisis a la ambientalización curricular. La trayectoria de la sustentabilidad.

The emergency and manifestations of the environmental crisis is making the society analyze the origin of the environmental degradation, and propose actions to stop it. Also the creations of international agreements sponsor by the ONU are related with the proposal of including the environmental aspect in education formally. Then the concept of sustainability gives environmental education a whole new role, a protagonist role which is going to transform the actions and behaviors in favor of the environment, later this transformation grows into environmental education, and like a strategy for the sustainability: given the commitment with the Sustainability, curriculum greening positions like the answer of all education institutions.La emergencia y manifestaciones de una crisis ambiental obligan a la sociedad a analizar el origen del deterioro ambiental y proponer acciones que permitan frenar el deterioro ambiental. La realización de convenios y acuerdos internacionales auspiciados por la ONU van de la mano con las propuestas de incluir la dimensión ambiental en la educación de manera formal. El concepto de Sustentabilidad otorga a la educación ambiental un rol protagónico como transformadora de acciones y conductas a favor del ambiente, después se transforma en Educación ambiental para la sustentabilidad y como una estrategia de esta: la ambientalizaciòn curricular se posiciona como la respuesta de las instituciones educativas ante el compromiso de la Sustentabilidad
