The foundations of the discourse of Aragonese Nationalism that legitimize the existence of an Aragonese Nation are based on the Medieval history of the Kingdom of Aragon and its political and legal institutions. In the context of contemporary nationalism in Spain, there is now in Aragon a political party defining itself as Aragonese nationalist and defends «the self-governance of the Aragonese nation» within a federal Spanish state. The article examines Aragonese nationalism and the Chunta Aragonesista (CHA) party whose most famous member, José Antonio Labordeta, was deputy in the Federal Congreso de los Diputados in Madrid for two mandates (2000-2004 and 2004-2008).Les fondements du discours du « nationalisme aragonais » légitiment l´exist...
