Tratamiento ambulatorio de las quemaduras

This type of burns are treated in Primary care, and receive for many years, the same treatment that consists generally, in the application of ointments bacteriostátics ó bactericidal almost of exclusive form, and you recover successive every 48-72 hours. If we ask the professionals the motive of this type of action (performance), the widespread answer is �because always we have made it like that�, in spite of the fact that there are no scientific evidences of this treatment, his (her, your) efficiency, and yes, on the other hand many discrepancies and contradictions according to different authors. It is important to indicate, that of all the Centers consulted of Primary, in none guide of action (performance) existed protocol ó opposite to a burn.Las quemaduras son lesiones traumáticas, muchas veces incapacitantes, que pueden dejar cicatrices ó secuelas en la piel de por vida, generalmente van acompañadas de dolor importante, y en un número muy elevado de procesos infecciosos, que es una de sus principales complicaciones. Puede decirse, que prácticamente todas las personas han sufrido alguna vez, a lo largo de su vida, algún tipo de quemadura ya sea, leve, moderada ó importante. Las quemaduras tratadas en Atención Primaria, reciben desde hace muchos años el mismo tratamiento que consiste generalmente en, la aplicación de pomadas bacteriostáticas ó bactericidas casi de forma exclusiva, y curas posteriores cada 48-72 horas. Si preguntamos a los profesionales el motivo de este tipo de actuación, la contestación generalizada es �porque siempre lo hemos hecho así�, a pesar de que no hay evidencias científicas de este tratamiento, su efectividad, y sí, en cambio muchas contradicciones y discrepancias según distintos autores. Es importante señalar, que de todos los Centros consultados de Primaria, en ninguno existía protocolo ó guía de actuación frente a una quemadura
