¿Desde el hospital podemos hacer intervenciones para la educación sociosanitaria?

� Introduction: the high-risk cardiovascular population has little knowledge about these diseases and how to act. � Objectives: Provide training on cardiovascular disease (CVD) in a risk group. Check if the intervention provides knowledge and if this depends on the profile of the participant. � Methodology: Cross-cutting intervention study. Population: love House. Sample: Housewives of the Association of housewives of Albacete. Educational intervention in sociocultural centres of neighborhood. Nurses, Cook, Doctor and Psychologist, imparted knowledge of CVD and healthy habits. At the beginning is recorded the cardiovascular profile of participants and three months carried out a questionnaire about knowledge. Analysis: descriptive and comparative bivariate. Significance: p <0.05. � Results: Attended 194 women whose profile was: more than 50 years (93%), occupationally inactive (96%), non-smoker (98%), overweight (58%), hypertensive (56%), sedentary (56%), hypercholesterolemic (45%) and with symptoms of depression (41%). Muestra: amas de casa de la Asociación de Amas de casa de Albacete. Intervención educativa en Centros Socioculturales de barrio. Médico, enfermeras, cocinera y psicólogo, impartieron conocimientos sobre las ECV y hábitos saludables.
