The Freemasons have been studied scientific and historiographical recently. This is where research on Freemasonry became university they gained some visibility. This article examines first the reasons for excluding women and the history of the active presence of Masonic origins to our days before show current issues and perspectives. The history of the Freemasons is not more universal than that of Freemasonry. It is closely related to national contexts, both internal factors and to denominations social progress in women´s empowerment.
