COMUNIDADES CRISTIANAS DE BASE: POBREZA Y LIBERACIÓN

Poor people are given an important position in the Bible. In the Ancient Testament, the Prophets point out the injustice of oppressors as the cause of poverty The book of the Exodus alludes to a dominant class that enriches with the product of the dehumanizing work of the masses exploited. In the New Testament the oppression of the powerful class is condemned. The Vatican Council II alludes several times to poverty but it does not make of it a priority topic. It will be the business of a Church that lives in a continent of misery and injustice to give poverty the importance it deserves. In Medellín, the methodology of the Liberation Theology, has been assumed: See � Judge � Act. Dussel, iniciator of the Liberation Philosophy, participates as an active theoretician in the construction of the new Latin-American society. Morin�s Phenomenology and Dussel�s Analectics serve are basis in the way of the recognition of the Other as subject of his own liberation. Christian Base Communities are a popular experience which have as principal target the formation of the social alternative subject.Los pobres ocupan un lugar importante en la Biblia. En el Antiguo Testamento los Profetas señalan como causa de la pobreza la injusticia de los opresores. El libro del Éxodo hace referencia a una clase dominante que se enriquece con el producto del trabajo deshumanizante de la masa explotada. En el Nuevo Testamento se condena la opresión de los poderosos. El Concilio Vaticano II alude varias veces a la pobreza pero no hace de ella un tema prioritario. Corresponderá a una Iglesia que vive en un continente de miseria e injusticia dar a la pobreza la importancia debida. En Medellín se asumió la metodología de la Teología de la Liberación: Ver � Juzgar � Actuar. Dussel, iniciador de la Filosofía de la Liberación, participa como teórico militante en la construcción de la nueva sociedad latinoamericana. La fenomenología moriniana y la analéctica dusseliana sirven de guía en el camino del reconocimiento del Otro como sujeto de su propia liberación. Las Comunidades Cristianas de Base son una experiencia popular que tienen como principal objetivo la formación del sujeto social alternativo
