In this paper we propose a methodology for monitoring and controlling multivariate normal processes composed of the Hotelling´s T² control chart to detect the out-of-control signals and when the process is out of control the principal components charts to identify the out-of-control variables and the dimensional structure of the product. The purpose of the methodology is to provide to the responsibles of dimensional quality of the products in time and adecuate information to take decisions when monitoring and controlling multivariate normal processes.
