El humor político en la Web: un discurso de resistencia

This article describes the methodological process developed in the thesis project entitled Humor. A Discourse of Political Resistance: a Critical Multimodal Analysis, of the Masters in Linguistics of Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia. This study arises from an interest in analyzing the tendency of humoristic discourse to create a discourse of resistance with respect to hegemonic discourse. The study of humoristic political videos that are multimodal mediatized products taken from youtube website, is used in order to identify the discursive strategies by which humor is used in the construction of a political discourse of resistance. The selected corpus was the series entitled "El pequeño tirano" [The small tyrant], created by Santiago Rocha, Simon Wilches and Santiago Rivas in 2008, which presents a commentary on the presidential regime of Alvaro Uribe Velez. This animated series is representative of the phenomenon of political humor in Colombia, of its meaning and implications in the cultural and social life of the country.Este artículo describe el proceso metodológico desarrollado en la propuesta monográfica titulada El humor. Un discurso de resistencia política: análisis crítico multimodal, tesis de la Maestría en Lingüística de la Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia. Trabajo que surge del interés por ver cómo, por medio del discurso humorístico, se construye un discurso de resistencia a los discursos hegemónicos, identificando las estrategias discursivas que utiliza el humor para la construcción de un discurso político de resistencia; también, a través del análisis de videos humorísticos de corte político: productos multimodales mediatizados desde la Web en el portal YouTube. El corpus seleccionado fue la serie animada El Pequeño Tirano creada por Santiago Rocha, Simón Wilches y Santiago Rivas en el año 2008, que tematiza alrededor del mandato presidencial de Álvaro Uribe Vélez.
