The article presents an approach to the analysis of the public transport supply in the informal settlements of Buenos Aires. With that objective, two Geographic Information System-oriented techniques are introduced, in order to investigate the spatial relationship between the distribution of the informal settlement and the transport network. The paper exposes results regarding the number of lines and stations/stops, daily services, offered seats and modal distribution for each informal settlement.
