This paper is a comparative analysis between the indigenous represented in the cinematographic industry of the Unites States and those indigenous represented by the European cinema. Parti-cularly, it analyzes the movie Furia apache: Winnetou I (1963), which was set in the North American West and reached great reception in Europe, based on the tales of the German writer Karl May (1842-1912).En el siguiente trabajo, se realiza un análisis comparativo entre los indígenas representados en el western de la industria cinemato-gráfica de Estados Unidos y aquellos nativos representados en el cine europeo.
