This paper presents an investigation to find the learning process of emotional skills in the context of a specific open classroom of secondary school for pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorders (ASD). A single case-study design was applied to describe an educational environment and know the variables that affect the learning process. The results indicate that the learning environment, the type of interactions established between teacher-student and student-student, teaching resources used and the roles that teachers play in the intervention process are variables that significantly affect the teaching of emotional skills of students with ASD.
