Introduction. Previous studies on presence and epidemiological importance of vector triatomine species of Trypanosoma cruzi in the state of Guerrero are very scarce and have focused on only a few localities. Objective. Update the current knowledge about the presence, geographic distribution, abundance and entomological indices of triatomine species. Materials and Methods. Thirty three rural and urban localities were investigated for triatomines using the hour/man technique. The three main entomological indices were calculated. Results.
