La estrategia de entrada en la mediación pedagógica

This article contains a number of recommendations for those professionals who prepare educational materials, in printed format, for the distance educational college system. Based on the characteristics of the students in that system, which emphasis on their study «in isolation» and on the little amount of time that they can devote to their academic activities, this material is recommended to be prepare in brief learning units, independent from each other, each with a beginning, a middle subject development section, and an end, with their corresponding strategies. This article shows three examples of approaching strategies: in the first one, it analyses how the author must prepare her or himself conceptually and methodologically, before deciding on using certain resources; and in the other two strategies, it justifies the use of the approaching strategy, on the basis of adult learning demands, within a distance education system. Keywords: distance education, textbooks, strategiesEste artículo ofrece una serie de recomendaciones para los profesionales que redactan materiales didácticos que se presenten en formato impreso en el sistema universitario a distancia. Se refiere a las características del estudiantado de dicho sistema y, tomando como base su estudio en �solitario� y el poco tiempo de que disponen para sus actividades académicas, plantea la conveniencia de unidades didácticas breves, con sentido completo y estructuradas en tres momentos �entrada, desarrollo y cierre�, con sus correspondientes estrategias. Asimismo, presenta tres ejemplos de estrategias de entrada: en el primero, analiza la elaboración conceptual y metodológica que debe realizar el autor como paso previo para decidir el uso de determinados recursos; en los dos restantes, justifica el uso de la estrategia de entrada a partir de las exigencias del aprendizaje de las personas adultas en un sistema a distancia.
