Evaluación comparativa de los rendimientos obtenidos mediante el proceso de extracción en aceites vegetales a partir de semillas oleaginosas

At the present time the extraction of natural products has great relevance in the nutritional industry. Due to this necessity the present has as primary target comparatively evaluate the process of oil extraction from oily seeds. For the development of the investigation, it takes account the related aspects in the vegetal oil obtaining, as well as of the factors that affect the yield in the oil extraction. One settles down the varieties of seeds to use in the investigation, and by means of an analysis it causes-effect the influential variables in the extraction process are selected, as they are its variety, size and amount of seed and volume of reliable, everything to establish the factors with their respective levels to be treated experimentally. The experimental study is made in the solid equipment of extraction-liquid Soxhlet of the Laboratory of Chemical Engineering, and once established the levels of the experiments and the varieties of seeds to use, it selects seeds of a crossed factorial experimental design of fixed effects, to observe the existing interactions between the factors previously selected and thus to analyze if they have incidence or not in the extraction process. Once obtaining all the interactions between the studied factors, the important conclusions that they are derived from the same one are: for the variety of seed sesame the best obtained yield was of 48,15% and 49,23%; for the seed peanut the best yield was of 38,73 % and 36,15% and for the seed mustard the best yield were of 32,38% and 32,12%, all the seeds with conditions of 1500g of seed, a 8000 ml volume ml and 50 size of mesh.En la actualidad, los procesos de extracción de productos naturales han adquirido gran importancia, especialmente en la industria alimenticia. La investigación pretende evaluar el comportamiento del porcentaje de rendimiento en el proceso de extracción de aceite a partir de semillas oleaginosas. Para el desarrollo de la investigación se identifican todos los aspectos relacionados con la extracción de aceites vegetales, así como los factores que afectan el rendimiento del proceso. Se estudian las variedades de semillas de ajonjolí, maní y mostaza. Luego, mediante un análisis causa-efecto se identifican las variables influyentes en el proceso, tales como: tamaño de partícula, cantidad de semilla alimentada y volumen de solvente, estableciéndose los niveles de los factores que serán considerados en la investigación. El estudio experimental se realiza en el equipo de extracción sólido-líquido Soxhlet del Laboratorio de Ingeniería Química: se selecciona un diseño experimental factorial cruzado de efectos fijos, para observar las interacciones existentes entre los factores previamente seleccionados y analizar la incidencia en el proceso de extracción. El mayor rendimiento se obtuvo para 8.000 mL de solvente, 1.500 g de semilla con tamaño de partícula de 50 mesh, para las tres variedades de semillas estudiadas. El mejor rendimiento obtenido para las semillas de ajonjolí, maní y mostaza es de 48,15%, 38,73% y 32,38% respectivamente
