Some authors have argued that corporate governance systems of the main economies are likely to converge towards a unique and leading model. However, despite the continuous trend and adoption of corporate practices of the Anglo- Saxon and German-Japanese models by China, Germany and Japan, the notion of convergence is unlikely to happen. Instead, there will a "hybrid model" which combines the most pivotal and remarkable features of both systems. This article briefly addresses and highlights the main characteristics of the Anglo-Saxon and German-Japanese models and also provides evidence that such convergence will not occur because of the diverse corporate culture practices embedded in each corporate governance system.Algunos autores han argu...
