The effect of three biofertilisers applied singly or in combination (Azotobacter chroococcum, Azospirillum brasilense and Glomus intraradices) and a plant growth bioregulator (gibberellic acid 3 (AG3)) on papaya seedling germination and subsequent growth was evaluated to increase and accelerate seed germination and obtain high yield and homogeneity for cv. Maradol papaya seedling in nurseries. A completely random experimental design was used, having eight treatments and three replications. A pre-germinal treatment with alternating temperature had to be applied to seeds to overcome dormancy.
