Anàlisi del volum de treball de l´alumnat universitari en crèdits europeus i l´efecte en el rendiment acadèmic

This study examines the workloads in European credits of a sample of university students and compares them with the teaching staff �s estimation of the workloads. It also analyses the relationship between workload and academic performances, as measured by course marks. Among the most significant results was the teaching staff �s widespread overestimation of the student workload. In this sense, the accuracy of the teaching staff �s estimation was 54.04% on average. Furthermore, a significant and relevant relationship at the practical level was observed between workload and academic performance in certain cases.El propòsit del present treball consisteix a descriure el volum de treball en crèdits europeus registrat en una mostra d'estudiants universitaris i comparar-ho amb l'estimació de treball realitzada pel professorat. També es pretén analitzar la relació entre el volum de treball i el rendiment acadèmic obtingut a través de la qualificació de l'assignatura. Entre els resultats més destacats, es pot observar una sobreestimació generalitzada de les hores de treball de l'alumnat previstes pel professorat. En aquest sentit, la precisió de l'estimació del professorat obté un valor mitjà del 54,04%. D'altra banda, s'ha observat, en determinats casos, una relació significativa i rellevant a nivell pràctic entre el volum de treball invertit i el rendiment acadèmic obtingut
