In this paper the assessment of experimental science processes is analysed. Once the practical activities relevant to science teaching have been established, different proccess patterns presented in different curricula are reviewed. We reognize the need that teachers have to be able to generate assessments of their own classes using a variety of approaches and methodologies in order to obtain the more valid and reliable information. The evaluation system tends to advance towards an adaptative, holistic, descriptive, criterial pattern capable of providing data relating to the efficiency and effectivity of teaching methods and of facilitating the formative decision-making process leading to effective guidance of the students'learning.En este ...
