Reliable vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P) communications have the ability to provide both vehicles and vulnerable road users (VRUs) with 360 degree of awareness to avoid collisions. Accurate channel models are of immense importance for developing reliable communications systems. Therefore, an accurate channel model for the V2P communications is necessary.
