This thesis aims to define and understand the role in which technology plays on human perception and its relationship to architecture. This is to critically analyze the changes and manipulations of the body within regards to new technological systems. These are analyzed under the frameworks of body perceptual systems and their levels of engagement. This then allows for experimentation of sensory manipulation to test the body’s responsive and reactionary techniques. The design of this thesis explores the opportunities in crossing, amplifying, and re-contextualizing the body and senses within the regards of the technological impacts.
