Motivational factors are driving forces that stimulates a person, which gingers an urge or passion to pursue a certain action. Most employers would appreciate to have a motivated worker who is ready to work, but do not understand what truly motivates each individual. Hence the study focused on extrinsic motivational factors and job performance of library personnel in universities and institutes of agriculture in Nigeria. It is an empirical study whose major source of data was primary source through questionnaire.
