Succession planning is a major concept under study specifically in the non-governmental organizations. Based on this, the study focused on factors affecting succession planning in non-governmental organizations in Kenya. The specific objectives were to establish the effect of job analysis, organization culture, recruitment, staff training and leadership style on succession planning in the non-governmental organizations. The descriptive research design was employed in this research study.
