Abstract

Buff clay with badly worn gray-brown glaze. Suspension lamp. Nozzle end missing, Plain rim divides at base of nozzle and two ends ended in volutes. Band set off by grooves between rim and discus. At front center of discus is base of broken vertical handle made in mold with top of lamp, consisting of rosette of seven molded leaves from which cylindrical stem rose and was probably topped by ring. Filling hole is behind base of handle and molded ring surrounds both. Base ring set off by grooves
