Abstract

Coarse pinkish buff micaceous clay: unglazed. Pear shaped lamp, wick hole in smaller end which is broken off. No mark of separation between plain rim and plain slightly concave discus with central filling hole. Vertical ring handle rises from top opposite nozzle and at right angles to axis of lamp. Plain pear -shaped base. Crude and heavy. Blackened about wick hole
