The theory of scattering by an imperfectly conducting, dielectric or plasma sphere is reviewed briefly. Numerical values of the back scattering and forward scattering cross sections of spheres are given over wide ranges of the radius, the conductivity, and the permittivity including both positive and negative values. The angle of the electric field in the forward and backward directions is also represented.
