HUBUNGAN KECEMASAN DENGAN KEPUASAN POST OP SUMBING BIBIR DAN ATAU LANGIT-LANGIT PADA ANAK USIA 4-11 TAHUN

Background: Cleft lip and palate (CLP) are congenital clefts with an incidence of about 17 per 10,000 live births or around 6,600 children / year and can extend to facial structures resulting in oral, facial, and craniofacial deformities. Meanwhile, the prevalence of anxiety is 17.7% for 1 year and always increases. Patients with anxiety must be treated immediately from their distress condition. Postoperative dissatisfaction can cause anxiety and lead to dissatisfaction with facial appearance, depression, problems in learning and interpersonal relationships especially in communicating or interacting. Objective: To identify the relationship between anxiety and post op CLP satisfaction in children aged 4-11 years. Method: Using observational analytic method with cross sectional study design. With a simple random sampling technique, a sample of 44 people was obtained. Data were analyzed by Chi Square test and Mann Whitney test. Result and Discussion: The results showed that dissatisfied patients amounted to 17 people (53.12%) with the highest anxiety results, namely moderate anxiety and satisfaction of 15 people (46.87%) with the highest results namely normal / not anxious.
