This report reviews findings on the Lea Bridge Gateway Single Regeneration Budget Targeted Nursery Childcare Project, which ran for the five year duration of the SRB programme from 1996 under the strategic objective of 'investing in people'. The SRB supported a private company to open a nursery, with the guarantee of thirty subsidised places per year. The project aimed to provide a long-term facility, targeted at the most disadvantaged people in the area
